He is also an entrepreneur and the proud owner of Soulful Designs by Eaton.  Services include fashion design, custom clothing, and graphic arts including logo and creation of promotional materials, while lending time and service to civic engagement within his community through many organizations.

With a passion for youth ministry and Christian Education, he was licensed to the Gospel Ministry in 2012 under the Pastoral leadership of Mack H.L. McConnel, Founding & Senior Pastor-Emeritus.  He currently serves as Director of the Youth & Young Adults Ministries, Facilitator of the Warriors of Christ Men's Fellowship, Audio/Visual & Technology Team, and loves teaching Sunday School and Bible Study as a member of Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church.

Eaton became an Ordained Minister Certificate through the Guilford Educational Missionary Baptist Association in 2015, where he served two terms as Director of Christian Education/Corresponding Secretary, one term as First Vice President, and currently serves as President of the Congress of Christian Education (Sunday School Auxiliary).  With pride, he served this association as a member of its Board of Trustees and Lead to the Audio/Video & Technology Team.

 

The health, strength, and longevity of the Christian Church are at the core of his ministry.  He relies on training acquired from services blended to the Church Health Focus Group and being a Church Revitalization Intern through The Triad Church Network (Pilot Mountain Baptist Association).  He is also a REFOCUS Certified Pastoral Readiness Coach through Corpus Vitae, Incorporated which allows him the honor of walking alongside Lead and Senior Pastors to sharpen their skills as; Wise Elders, Skilled Overseers, and Transformational Shepherds.

Growing and equipping Christians as Kingdom Citizens through sound teaching, spiritual empowerment, and encouraging them to have a Christ-centered identity is the mantra for S.D. Eaton Ministries, Inc. | Walkin, in NOW Faith.  This para-ministry was born in 2017 and is aimed to support Local Churches and Ministry Leaders worldwide.

He is the son of the late Edgar Lee Duncan, Jr., Donna Eaton Smart, and David A. Smart, (stepfather) and big brother to DraLisa A. Smart
